HealthGrow is an innovative solution that offers all the healthcare services on a single platform. It operates with a vision to serve people with a motto “Health in your hands” using the latest technology solutions.

HealthGrow was looking to standardize its web security while expanding its business prospects. A reliable solution was offered by PruTech through the effective implementation of various AWS cloud services that included storage services and security solutions that enhanced the overall performance of the platform.

HealthGrow is a cutting-edge healthcare platform that provides customers with access to the most advanced healthcare services utilizing state-of-the-art technology solutions.

Initially, customer infrastructure was hosted on-premises. Their application was frequently experiencing performance issues. They hosted their infrastructure on multiple servers with data spread across these servers.  Data integrity was a challenge that led to maintenance and performance issues. Specific security challenges included DDoS attacks and HTTPS flood attacks.

Their platform lacked security, scalability, and compatibility features. A result of this was an increase in maintenance costs and difficulties in monitoring. The application was vulnerable to potential risks due to security breaches on the VPS.

They preferred to maintain their infrastructure on the cloud for increased performance and high availability in a secure environment.

• PruTech offered them cloud migration and comprehensive storage solutions to achieve security and scalability. Amazon EC2 was implemented as it provided optimization and provided full advantage of the resources available within AWS cloud services.
• Amazon EC2 Spot Instances use spare EC2 capacity available at less than On-Demand price allowing to utilize EC2 services at low cost. Amazon EC2 Autoscaling helped achieve higher availability of the application and automatically add or remove EC2 instances as per the customer need.
• PruTech cloud solution included the migration of their applications and databases to Amazon Compute services. It also provided a comprehensive solution for site-to-site VPNs, data migrations, and overall security.
• PruTech implemented various security tools to ensure PCI compliance by using AWS services, such as Identity Access Management (IAM) policies to ensure the overall security of the AWS infrastructure. We secured the cloud access system by implementing Multi-Factor-Authentication (MFA).
• PruTech used Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and created an isolated virtual network to enable ease of access and improve productivity.
• PruTech provided its Security & Compliance solution, which included an 8/5 team of cloud operations engineers to monitor the security findings and health of the HealthGrow environment, apply system patches, and run system back-ups. The service also provided cloud analysts to identify cost-optimization opportunities.
• Amazon CloudFront was used for the website content delivery system, Amazon CloudWatch for monitoring the application performance and tracking metrics, setting alarms, and monitoring of log files.

• HealthGrow optimized its use of Amazon EC2 for Windows, a web service that provides secure, sizable compute capacity in the cloud.
• Improved the security posture and collect real-time log streams through the implementation of AWS IAM as it works seamlessly with other AWS services.
• The auto-scaling tool enables up or down scaling of the application based on the specific business needs.
• Achieved PCI compliance and complete protection against malicious activity.
• Implementation of Route 53 allowed load balancing.
• The implementation of IAM, MFA, WAF, and VPC ensured the overall security of the client infrastructure on the AWS Cloud.
• Enhanced cloud security by implementing KMS.
• CloudWatch helped us to provide continuous support and monitoring of the services.
• Offered backup support for cloud data.
